Team members from Salem Area Swimming competed in a Penny War during the month of April. The team raised $60 for Salem Rotary Club’s “Pennies for Polio”. Mount Union College Swimmers Visit Local Swim Team On Sunday April 18, three Mount Union College swimmers and head coach Eric Mojock, stopped in to visit the Salem Area Swimming Piranhas at practice. They came to talk to the team, which has almost 60 swimmers, about swimming in college. The purpose of the visit was to introduce the possibility of swimming competitively at the collegiate level. “I wanted my swimmers to know that the opportunity was out there for them,” said Piranhas Head Coach Caroline McDermott.
